Pluto TV is a free online television service broadcasting over 75 live channels full of the TV shows, movies and Internet videos you love, all on one dial.
Tom Ryan is CEO and co-founder of Pluto TV. Tom also serves on the boards of Smule, a mobile music creation community with apps like Sing! and Magic Piano with over a $100m revenue run rate, and Threadless, a popular crowdsourced art and e-commerce company, where he served as CEO from 2008 to 2012. Tom was also a board member at men’s clothing service Trunk Club until its acquisition by Nordstrom for $350m in 2014 as well as Society6 until its acquisition by Demand Media for $100m in 2013.
Earlier in his career, Tom served as SVP of Digital Strategy at EMI Music and co-founder of Cductive, an early digital music company that he merged with eMusic, the second largest player after Apple’s iTunes Music Store in the download era of digital music. Tom holds an AB from Dartmouth College and an MBA from INSEAD in France.
Ken Parks is the Executive Chairman of Pluto TV. He is also a Special Advisor to the CEO of Spotify.
Prior to joining Pluto TV in late 2015, Ken was the Chief Content Officer and North American Managing Director for Spotify. Ken was Spotify’s first American hire in 2008 and launched that service in the US in 2011.
Earlier in his career, Ken held senior positions at EMI Music, Reuters and GetMusic.
He has a law degree from Columbia University. He has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Lafayette University and received an M.S. in electrical engineering from Lehigh University.
Rick Lewis is a General Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), a technologist and a two-time software entrepreneur. At USVP, Rick focuses on consumer services and software investments. Aside from Pluto TV, some of Rick’s current investments include HotelTonight, Primary, ThreatMetrix and Act-On Software. His prior investments include Intermolecular (Nasdaq: IMI), Yammer (acquired by Microsoft) and Trunk Club (acquired by Nordstrom).
Christof Wahl has been member of the Executive Board of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE since May 1, 2016. He is responsible for the Digital Entertainment division, which includes the Online Video business with maxdome and Studio71 and the fields of AdVideo-on-Demand, Ad-Tech and Data. Since January 2017 he has been also responsible for the digital verticals „Online Price Comparison“, „Online Dating“ and „Online Travel“ in the business segment Digital Ventures & Commerce. Wahl also oversees the distribution division and acts as the Group’s Chief Operating Officer.
Ilya Pozin is the Chief Growth officer and co-founder of Pluto TV. Ilya also serves on the board of Coplex, an award-winning digital agency. At Coplex, Ilya served as founder and CEO from 2000 to 2010, and was involved in the launch of thousands of web and mobile applications, as well as management of millions of dollars of marketing and digital media ad buys.
Earlier in his career, Ilya co-founded Open Me, a social greeting and gifting company that was acquired by Rowl.
Ilya is also a columnist for Inc. and Forbes, and was recognized as a ’30 Under 30′ entrepreneur in 2012.
