Don’t miss the Bruce Lee marathon on Fight (Ch. 205)

Did you know that Bruce Lee was known to train for over 12 hours each day in his private dojo? Celebrate the life and legacy of the greatest martial arts film star of all time (sorry, Jackie) for almost as long as one of his training sessions with Pluto TV’s Bruce Lee Marathon: Saturday, May 13th at 12 p.m. on Fight (Ch. 205)! We’ve got great programs to give you an in-depth look at the enigmatic and ostentatious leading man, whose hypnotizing, frenetic style, known as Jeet Kune Do, would revolutionize foreign and domestic action films from the 1960’s right up to the present day.

Bruce Lee trained in Wing Chun (a form of martial arts) under Yip Man, toiling and sweating for countless hours to perfect his body and technique. You can witness the fruits of his labors in the following programs: “Martial Arts Master: The Life of Bruce Lee,” “Bruce Lee: Immortal Dragon,” and “The Legend of Bruce Lee” without having to break a sweat yourself.

Starting at 12 p.m. ET on Fight (Ch. 205), “Martial Arts Master: The Life of Bruce Lee” reveals the story of Lee’s life and death, through interviews with fellow martial arts masters such as Jackie Chan, Hollywood actors, and even his own son, Brandon. Next up, we have “Bruce Lee: Immortal Dragon” at 1 pm ET. In this documentary, we are treated to a behind the scenes look at Bruce Lee’s rise to stardom: his early years fighting in martial arts competitions to his role as Kato on the TV show “The Green Hornet.” The film also looks into the controversy and theories surrounding Lee’s mysterious death. Following this, “The Legend of Bruce Lee” begins at 2pm ET. In this TV series, we take a look at Lee’s entire life, from his high school years in China to his rise to stardom, brushes with other prominent martial artists of his day, and his starring role in some of the most iconic films of the century. Starring Danny Chan as Bruce Lee, with Ray Park and Michael Jai White, this is one show that is sure to appeal to all fans of The Dragon.

So, strap on your headband and ready your best crane pose. The Bruce Lee Marathon is taking over Fight (Ch. 205) on Saturday, May 13th at 12 p.m. Are you prepared to step onto the mat with The Dragon?
