YOUR WORST NIGHTMARES…Now Streaming

Worst Nightmares… Now Streaming All Month on Pluto TV

We could come at you with a bunch of puns about how Pluto TV’s free streaming TV service is so good it’s scary, or how no matter what, your favorite streaming device won’t save you from these films… But we at Pluto TV like to think we’re better than that. We’ll leave the lame puns to certain 80’s slasher villains, and stick with what we’re good at: giving you the programming you want, all the time, free of charge and conveniently to your favorite device. For Halloween, we’ve personally compiled a list of the freakiest films out there for you to binge on during this scariest of seasons (we made no promises against alliteration!). Because if you’re anything like us, you only need a few things to get yourself in the spirit of Halloween: a metric ton of candy, some of those fake cobwebs that you put up in your house and are somehow still walking through on January 15th, and some great classic and modern horror films.

We’ve got morbid marathons, like the Friday the 13th Nowhere to Run Marathon, starting at 7:00 pm ET on Horror 24/7 (Ch. 709). Watch doomed backpackers fail to hitchhike their way out of terror in “Hostel” and “Hostel 2,” and then decide who’s chasing whom in “Silence of the Lambs,” followed by some Eastern horror in “Three Extremes.”

Starting on 10/27 at 7pm ET we’ll have a marathon made from YOUR WORST NIGHTMARES, each day leading up to Halloween on Horror 24/7 (Ch. 709). The first night, we’ll be showing back-to-back screamfests “Hostel,” “Hostel 2,” “Troll 2,” and “Last House on the Left.” On 10/28, check out “The Town That Dreaded Sundown,”

“The Last House on the Left,” “Jeepers Creepers 2,” “See No Evil 2,” and “Devil May Call.” 10/29 revives “Three Extremes,” “Three Extremes II,” and “The Silence of the Lambs,” while 10/30 brings “Cube,” “Cube 2,” “Cube Zero,” and “Stan Helsing” back from the grave. If you’ve given out all your candy, and you’re ready for a good scare, tune into Horror 24/7 (Ch. 709)  on 10/31 at 7:00 pm ET as we’ll be showing “Night of the Living Dead,” “The Return of the Living Dead,” “Birth of the Living Dead,” “Troll 2” and “The Last House on the Left” to cap off your All Hallow’s Eve.

And since we can never get enough young people running from chainsaw-wielding maniacs and sharp objects hidden in chairs, you can catch a double feature of “Hostel” and “Hostel 2” on Horror 24/7 (Ch. 709) on 10/8 & 10/21 at 7:00 pm ET.

The Asylum (Ch. 724) certainly has its own brand of scary films, and we’ll be celebrating with them throughout the month. Watch the Zombies! Marathon on 10/15 and 10/29 at 7:00 pm ET with “Zombie Night,” “Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies,” “The Coed and the Zombie Stoner” and “Nazis at the Center of the Earth.” On 10/13, 10/21 and 10/28 at 7:00 pm ET, The Haunted Asylum Marathon will exorcise “The Bell Witch Haunting,” “The Amityville Haunting,” “A Haunting in Salem,” “Haunting of Whaley House,” and “Haunting of Winchester House” from their ghostly slumbers.

However, we realized that fear doesn’t pertain only to scary movies and certain relatives’ cooking, you can get just as creeped out watching demented documentaries and creepy concerts. So we decided to jam-pack our Halloween schedule with docs and live music!

You can find real-life scary stuff like the Haunted Documentaries Marathon featuring “American Ghost Hunter,” and “Hollywood Ghost Stories” on DocuTV (Ch. 638) on 10/10 at 7:00 pm ET as well as Cult Fever Marathon with “The Source Family” and “The Institute” 10/8 at 7:00 pm ET. And if Halloween didn’t exist, would we have bands like Kiss and Alice Cooper? Watch theirs and others’ most out-there concerts on Live Music Replay (Ch. 517) 10/13 & 10/31.
